North Dakota state law does not address the possession or carrying of concealed firearms on college and university campuses. Schools are free to regulate firearms on their campuses, except in private vehicles.

As of January 7, 2025, no public universities, colleges, or community colleges permit the carrying of concealed firearms inside of buildings and on campus grounds.
